Good Clean Fun

When I think of trip to the pumpkin patch, I picture hayrides, petting zoos, and maybe a few inflatable bounce houses, slides, or climbing gyms. Perhaps a spooky maze through a cornfield for the older kids. Kettle corn, BBQ, lemonade...so wholesome. It makes me hearken back to the days of...

The electric chair?

That's right, for a measly 50 cents, you and your children can give the skeleton a sustained, jaw-clenching surge of electricity. Push the "Last Request" button for a personal connection.

  1. I think that this is not a fun little toy for kids. I believe that no parent would want their kid to learn that killing some one is a fun thing. This is just like "The Lottery" they didn't kill the poor girl for enjoyment they did it so that they would get better crops that year. Every life is sacred weather they have done some thing horrible or not. God gave us all a human body to live in not so that we can destroy it. This is NOT something I would want my kids to see.

  2. I agree with this article you would think that it would have all that but it is probably there tradition to show that. Also people might just like it because it amuses them which is really creepy. This would be an inhumane way to find amusement.

  4. In my opinion its a hilarious post . I mean it was just a skeleton and its not harmful . i understand some parents of little children would be concerned , but it is just a joke per say and its pretty funny . I believe that for a nickle you get some good old entertainment for the holidays .

  5. In my opinion this very random, a skeleton awaiting death in a pumpkin patch. It is just a funny carnival game that kids can have fun with. Some parents argue that this is a bad influence and teaches violence. This should not be taken this seriously kids should just have fun and be kids.

  6. This isn't fun at all! I wouldn't ever imagine that at a pumpkin patch. By doing this you are teaching your kids that its funny and its ok if this happens but its not and i hope kids who see this think its scary and not funny.

  7. I agree with Hailey your kids are gonna wanna do what they see other people do and when you put money in to make it electrocute the skeleton, that is basically telling them it's OK to hurt people.I don't understand how anybody can get amusement from that anyways, plus I have never even seen one of those at a pumpkin patch or any other place.

  8. I do not understand why everybody is making a big deal about it. I do agree that it is very inhumane and that it is also strange and random, but I have learned to leave people and their ways of living alone. And who says watching the dead guy getting electrocuted isn't funny. Come one people have a sense of humor did it occur to you how ironic it is that THE PERSON SITTING IN THE CHAIR IS ALREADY DEAD did that at any point cross your mind? Who knows maybe I'm crazy and sick things are funny to me and maybe that's how those people feel to. There is nothing wrong with sick amusement unless you don't find it funny then maybe you shouldn't be near it.

  9. This is awesome post i love the weird prop. i think that this is a great idea for a pumpkin patch because it shows what Halloween is all about. Halloween is about scary things, thats the whole point of it. If you don't like this then you should just walk away and let us people who enjoy and understand Halloween have some fun.

  10. That may be true but it is not what you want your kids doing. I mean like what if they started doing this to there sibling and get some one hurt you dont want it to go that far. It might go with the theme of Halloween but it is not funny.
